PRO-TEC® PROTECTIVE TIPS
Pack of 10 replacement tips

PROTECTION • PRECISION • SIMPLICITY

The Pro-Tec® protective tips are designed for use with Dectro probe holders to provide optimized protection, probe retention and stability during treatment.

Sold separately in packs of 10, they make it easy to replace the tip after each client and support a hygienic treatment protocol.

PROTECTION
Designed to cover approximately 4.5 cm (1 ¾ in.) of the probe holder, including a large portion of the gripping area, the Pro-Tec® tip provides additional protection during probe installation and use.
It helps limit direct handling of the probe holder and supports hygienic practices through the use of a new tip for each client.

PRECISION AND RETENTION
The self-tapping design of the Pro-Tec® tip gradually forms its own thread as it is screwed onto the probe holder.
This allows for a precise fit around the base of the probe, promoting secure probe retention and assembly stability during treatment, while optimizing electrical contact with the probe.

DURABILITY
By covering a large portion of the probe holder, the Pro-Tec® tip helps reduce wear on the probe holder and contributes to extending its service life.

HYGIENE PROTOCOL
Gloves must be worn during treatment.
To support hygienic practices, we recommend: ONE CLIENT = ONE NEW TIP
After each treatment, remove the used Pro-Tec® tip and dispose of it according to applicable procedures.
Clean and disinfect the reusable probe holder according to the applicable instructions.

Important: The Pro-Tec® tip provides additional protection and does not replace the cleaning and reprocessing of the reusable probe holder. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and the hygiene procedures applicable to your facility.

COMPATIBILITY
Pro-Tec® tips are compatible with:
Dectro International 13.56 MHz and 27.12 MHz probe holders;
Pro-Tec® F and K probes manufactured by Dectro International.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. INSTALL THE TIP
Position the Pro-Tec® tip on the probe holder and screw it in approximately ¼ turn. Do not fully tighten at this stage.

2. INSERT THE PROBE
Insert the Pro-Tec® probe into the probe holder chuck until the colored portion of the SteriGard® is visible near the tip.

3. ADJUST THE PROBE
Gradually screw the Pro-Tec® tip toward the base of the probe to secure it.If necessary, use an appropriate tool to gently push the probe toward the base of the probe holder, ensuring that the colored portion of the SteriGard® is properly positioned against the tip. Do not force the probe or apply excessive pressure.

4. FINAL TIGHTENING
Make the final adjustment to the Pro-Tec® tip to ensure the probe is securely held.
Visually verify that the probe is correctly positioned before beginning treatment.

5. REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE CAP
Before treatment, gently twist and remove the protective cap from the probe.
